Acrylic On Canvas: Lovers In Lake, Late Winter Of 2005

I did this painting as sort of an excuse to paint, to practice my skills a little, to create something beautiful, etc. It's actually based off another photograph, but the lovers I added myself. I love it, I think it's beautiful, but I'll be honest, I had nothing in mind when I made this painting, no specific intentions. The people are no one in particular, I can't even think of a man who really looks like the man in this silhouette. But, that is sort of why I like it, it is so calm, peaceful, zen. It can be anyone. And it can be anywhere.
