Kevin Spacey is one of Kaity's FAVORITE actors. She's madddddly in love with him. While I'm not passionate about him as she is, I can't disagree with her taste either. So for Kaity's birthday her parents got her two tickets to see Kevin Spacey in his Broadway play, Moonlight For The Misbegotten, and she chose me to come along with her. The play was excellent, and of course we got to meet Kevin at the end. Like most celebrities, he was too busy to do anything but sign autographs and take pictures. He was REALLY nice though. There was even a funny experience we had with him...

Kevin looked very cute. I'm going to add him to my list of men who look cute loosing their hair... There's only like two people on that list now, including Kevin. ;)


The funny story about Kevin, Kaity, and I is this: Kaity was really shy and wanted me to do the talking to Kevin, to ask him for photos, etc. But since I wanted a photo with him as well as asking him for her, I tried to tell him this at once when he came to us. So, when he came to us, I said something like, "Kevin, can I have a photograph with both Kaity and I?" And he apparently either didn't understand me, or felt like teasing me anyway, because he took my camera away and started teasing us, going, "What? You want WHAT kind of photo? Of you AND your friend?" Or something like that. The whole crowd was laughing and swept up by him and were trying to get in on this [granted, he could have sneezed and they would have been entertained by it and talked about it for weeks]. So, he took this photo of Kaity and I first. Then he posed for our individual photos. You can see EVERYONE in the background trying to get in on this. ;) I'm wearing the harmonica necklace Kaity gave me that night too.

Although I don't know if Kevin would recognize us if he saw us again, I can say we were pretty much the *only* people in the audience he gave special attention to, so... Maybe the rumors about him being attracted to men are false. ;)

Someone took this of us with the poster. Unlike Kaity who had actually planned what she would wear this evening, I came straight from work, dressed in my bland work clothing. With God as my witness, I will never wear this outfit again.
