Everyone who claims to be a "real" Monkees fan, what I may label as "Monkees Purists", believe that the WORST album of the Monkees was More of the Monkees, citing this was the album most out of their control, most disrespectful to who they were, and most bubble gum. True. But I care not. And as I said before, it's not bubble gum, it's toasted marshmallow. More of the Monkees is one of the most sweet, innocent, fresh, nice albums I know, and the fact is that maybe the final production of it was insulting, the actual content is really nice. And, don't tell me that the Monkees were at all as distraught and depressed as they were during say Pisces Aquarius or 33 1/3 when they were making this album. They weren't.
