Welcome to She Hangs Out,
a page with photos of all my friends and I.
I have many friends and aquaintences [ie check facebook], but these are mostly
photos of the people whom I spend regular time with, so I can show them off. ;)
If you aren't on here, don't be offended. But if you aren't here
and you would like to be,
feel free to
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This is Andrea and I. We met at college.
At a certain art class to be specific. ;)
Andrea is truly one of the most patient,
understanding, creative, and open-minded people I know. She put up with me after all,
didn't she? ;)
"Emotional genius" is far too underated and misunderstood in this culture,
but if ever there was one, it would be Andrea.
Kaity and I have many mutual obsessions/needs/addictions,
and cater to each other's mischievous personalities. Kaity is very sensitive and intelligent,
yet cunning and sly.
We are usually up to something.
You're usually the last to know what.
You being, Michael Nesmith, whom I know is reading this.
This is my cousin, Hilary and I [we're twins ;)].
Hilary and I are usually up to something as well.
Hilary's one of my best friends.
I've known her all my life, and she is by far one of the most loyal people I've ever known,
as well as funny, intelligent, and charismatic.
We've agreed to get married if we don't find matches elsewhere.
This is my sister, Agatha, and I.
Agatha is the cutest thing ever.
I adore her, especially since I don't have to live with her anymore. ;) But we get
along surprisingly well even when we do live/visit together, and she always has been the
BEST roommate a psycho like me could ever hope for. Agatha's adorable, and a brainiac.
She graduated from a prestigious school with many honors, etc. Of course, I could have had
similar fate I suppose, but we all know where I channel *my* energies..
This is myself, my friend Melissa, and her fiance Nick [not in that order-- and
yes this photo unflatters us all]. Melissa and I have known each other
since sophomore year of high school, a time we consider-- at least I consider-- simultaneously
an embarrassment of a tragedy and an idolized utopia, long gone. Melissa has seen me at some of my
most ingulgent, artistic, and crazy phases of life, and she was loyal to me through out all of them.
I myself have seen Melissa create masterpeices in her life out of nothing, and have been
long inspired by her kindness, and dynamic, resilient attitude toward life.
We both have changed so much, but will always [I hope] remain in each other's lives.
She is presently engaged to this wonderful man, Nick, and I am very happy for them both. :)
Lynsey and I met online, on my birthday,
because accidently I thought she was someone else. Weird.
And we got along and liked each other's
thoughts sooooooooo much who I thought she was didn't matter so much anymore [per se ;)].
Then we met in real life too, and she was pretty awesome. :) She is a gifted musician and
artist, inspires me and keeps my spirits up.
This is Nikki and I at a Mexican bar/restaurant. Nikki is an Aquarian, and is
*so* Aquarian. She fullfills my need for fashion, leopard print, spontaneity, happiness,
open-mindedness, gossip, and girl-talk. She is someone that never takes anything too
seriously, unless it is meant to be taken seriously, and that is an entirely good thing...
BTW, we both came from work in this photo, which is why we have such tired eyes...
Christine is a very liberal, open-minded girl, who has been a loyal supporter
of me through my many crazy antics and inpired me and introduced me to many
unusual things I would have not found for a very long time otherwise [The Cockettes?! Genius].
And we're actually going to Disney World and Epcot together soon, which is AMAZING.
I have never been there before.
Sara and I met online many, many moons ago, and finally met in real life on several occasions,
usually in NYC. Sara is ecclectic and sensitive and reminds me of different
[deeply repressed ;)] sides of myself. I'm always surpised by some of the things
I read of hers or hear from her. ;)
Laura, who was once better known as Coco Sunshine to me online [yes, after Micky's sister],
I have known since 1998. Yet I've never met her.
But I never think about that with her, it's as if I have known
her all my life. She is one of the most
optimistic, open-minded, loving, and kind people, and she helped
pull me out of a great depression when I first met her online in 1998. Since then we have both
been in and out of our lives as we went through high school, college, and today,
but we always keep in touch. :)
There are more people coming soon, but I getting photos of them, etc.
If you are not on here yet, it is because this page is under construction and I am
looking to find recent/flattering photos of you/us. Thanks. :)
